There are at least 4 good reasons that will make you fall in love with Casa Sottsass.
The apartment is completely renovated, fully furnished in wood and with particular attention to the details. It is located in a historic house, which is more than 100 years old, on whose facade you can admire one of the typical frescoes that characterize the ancient residences of the "Biois Valley", that is colled "Valley with Saints at the windows".
The location is perfect, close to the ski lifts of the San Pellegrino Ski Area and just 1 km far from the town center.
THE SPACES:
The apartment is on 2 levels. On the second floor there is a wide living room with cooking corner equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, large fridge with freezer; dining area, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. From this floor we have access to the two terraces that overlook on two sides of the house. The view you can enjoy is amazing, you can admire the most beautiful Dolomite peaks that surround Falcade while having breakfast on the terrace at the dawn of a hot summer day, before getting equipped with boots and trekking poles and climb higher.
Now taking the staircase that goes up to the second top floor, we first find a small relax livingroom, then a bedroom with 2 single beds and finally a bathroom with bathtub.
On the ground floor of the house, at the entrance on the right, there is a deposit where in winter you can leave your skis and boots and in summer your mountain bikes.
THE POSITION:
Casa Sottsass is located just 5 minutes walk from the departure of the ski lifts of the San Pellegrino Ski Area, 400 meters. You can then reach in a jiffy the wonderful and perfectly snow-covered ski slopes, take the new Molino-Le Buse cable car and spend an unforgettable day of snow and fun. If you don't own the equipment, you can rent it to the shop at the start of the lift or in the several sporting goods shops in the valley.
Absolutely don't miss to stop in the characteristic mountain huts on the ski slopes, where you can enjoy typical and delicious dishes.
In the town center there is an ice skating rink and a cross-country ski trak, beloved winter sports that will make you to spend a different day different.
In summer the mountain is populated with flocks and shepherds, which surround the numerous huts that can be reached on foot both from the village and from directly at high altitude. In these jewels of the Dolomites you can taste and buy zero km products such as cheeses and cured meats, as well as taste a good dish of polenta, mushrooms and pastim (sausages).
Don't forget the several mountain huts that you can find in the high mountains, set among the rosy Dolomite rocks.
For those who are less daring, the park of Falcade (Piana di Falcade) offers beautiful quiet walks along the pedestrian bicycle path, a playground for the children, a pond with its restaurant/bar with terrace and view, etc ...

Il pianerottolo "condominiale" del piano appartamento risulta completamente occupato da scarpe e materiale del vicino. Non è un bel vedere e nemmeno l'olfatto ringrazia.

There are at least 4 good reasons why you will fall in love with Casa Piccolin. The location in the center of Falcade, the amazing view on the park and the surrounding Dolomites, the free Wi-Fi network, the wooden furniture and the typical mountain atmosphere. THE SPACES: The apartment has an independent entrance and is located on the raised ground floor of a newly renovated building which has only three apartments. It's composed of a large living room with double sofa bed, cooking corner and dining area created in what was once the "larin" area, the typical fireplace of ancient mountain residences around which the family used to gather. There are also a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. You can then take advantage of the free Wi-Fi network and, at the end of the day, post and share photos of the trip to the mountains or the memorable ski outing with friends. Do not forget the large and convenient outdoor parking space and the ski and boots storage on the left side of the building, just under the barn loft. THE POSITION: To reach the wide "Piana di Falcade" (the park) you just have to cross the road and walk about fifty meters .. You will end up walking in a relaxing park where your children can run and play quietly, far away from busy roads and dangers. Here you will also find the playground, the inflatable play area, the bowling green, the bike path that runs along the river and through the forest, and much more.
